A shimmering, soft and strong yarn produced from extrafine superwash merino with mulberry silk added for a natural lustre, added strength and more drape. Worsted spun from long staple fibres to produce a yarn with great stitch definition. The silk adds extra body to the yarn to hold stitches in shape on larger or lacey items. Creates items that shimmer in the light and have luxurious drape. Ideal for socks, shawls, scarves, gloves, jumpers and baby items. Takes up dye well to produce strong, vibrant colours that reflect light.
By using extrafine merino (19.5 microns) which is some of the finest commercially available for hand dyers, the result is a supersoft yarn that feels gentle against the skin.
