This yarn weight is also known as Double Knit (UK) or Light Worsted (USA).
It’s a useful weight for all items such as not so thin socks, children’s jumpers and hats, adult sweaters, beanies, gloves, not so fine shawls, and scarves. It’s a great weight of yarn to begin colour work knitting. Usually uses 3.75 – 4.5 mm needle with 20 -22 stitches per 10 cm
