Merino/Lincoln 4 Ply Sock Yarn

This is a 3 fold high twist worsted spun NZ yarn from Wild Earth Yarns comprising 80% Merino and 20 % long strong Lincoln wool. This yarn was designed to eliminate the need for reinforcing sock yarn with nylon. Lincoln sheep are one of the oldest British longwool sheep breeds having been introduced into New Zealand in the 1840s.
