75% Brushed Baby Suri Alpaca / 25 % Mulberry Silk
A lustrous, smooth and soft baby suri alpaca wrapped around a silk core and brushed to create a supersoft luxurious yarn with a light and airy halo. It knits up beautifully on its own on a wide variety of needle sizes and can be used as a light DK through to chunky. It can be combined with 4 ply/fingering weight or DK weight for additional warmth and texture. So many patterns now call for knitting two yarns together with one being Mohair/Silk (Floof). I much prefer this non-prickly softer laceweight yarn. Due to being brushed, some shedding can be expected. I have found this to cease once the garment is washed and blocked.

Please make a tension square before any project to test gauge and needle size and if combining yarns, to test colour blending and any fabric behaviour changes such as drape, loft, warmth and feel.
