8 Ply MW Merino Turmeric Shadows

$35.00

The main factor determining the quality of merino wool is its softness which depends upon the fineness of the fibres. Extrafine merino (19.5 microns) is some of the finest commercially available for hand dyers. The resulting yarn feels supersoft and gentle against the skin.  This is a very versatile soft yarn and can be used for shawls, wraps, mittens and jumpers. Washable in cold water on a gentle cycle, it is also suitable for children’s and baby clothes.

This is a rich variegated and speckled yarn of grey, gold and reddish brown with speckles of grey, green, brown and gold.  Each skein within each dye pan is unique.
