Kit of 3 skeins 8 Ply MW Merino Lavender Fade

Description

The main factor determining the quality of merino wool is its softness which depends upon the fineness of the fibres. Extrafine merino (19.5 microns) is some of the finest commercially available for hand dyers. The resulting yarn feels supersoft and gentle against the skin.  This is a very versatile soft yarn and can be used for shawls, wraps, mittens and jumpers. Washable in cold water on a gentle cycle, it is also suitable for children’s and baby clothes.

This 3 skein kit is a lovely fade of purples, violet, navy, pink and greens with a sprinkles of pink, green and navy only paler. Each dye lot varies slightly and each skein within each pan varies.

• Superwash Extra Fine Merino 19.5 micron
• 100g appx 200m per skein  X 3
• 3.5 -4.5 mm needles
• 22 sts X 30 rows / 10 cms on 4 mm needles
• Gentle cold machine wool wash
• We recommend gentle hand washing for all handknits
• Imported yarn

If knitting as a fade, I recommend alternating colours at least every 2 rows when changing colour
