Walkies Hot Summer Nights

Sock yarn is so versatile. It’s suitable for so many things, not just socks!

This is a variegated soft salmon pink, grey and white with speckles of grey and brown. It reminds me of hot summer evenings with the grass brown from drought crunching under foot and the old saying “Red sky at night, shepherd’s delight” predicting another hot sunny day to follow.

• 100g appx 400 m
• 2.25-3.25 mm needles
• 28 sts X 36 rows / 10 cm

Can be gently machine washed but cool hand wash recommended
