Walkies Lotus Pond

Sock yarn is so versatile. It’s suitable for so many things, not just socks!

This is a tonal cool peppermint green base with speckles of bright fuschia, chartreuse and even a smattering of blue. The same colours as Lotus but a deeper green.

This combination of colours reminds me of our time living in Asia, where lotus ponds were abundant.  There were always flowers and distinctive seed pods standing proudly upright from a sea of leaves, each with rotund glistening balls of water in the base.

• 2.25-3.25 mm needles
• 28 sts X 36 rows / 10 cm
• Can be gently machine washed but cool hand wash recommended
