This is an ideal weight for socks, fair isle, hats, shawls, scarves, gloves and baby wear. Finer than DK requiring more meterage per garment. Half the thickness of DK yarn.
Uses 2 – 3.5 mm needles with 24 – 32 stitches per 10 cm.
Can be used doubled to create a similar weight to DK or combined with a laceweight yarn for more complex colours and textures.
